Mamma Graziella is located in Pedara, a picturesque Etnean village 18 km from Catania, which in summer turns into a lively centre full of life, typical restaurants and many other attractions for families and groups of friends wishing to spend an evening in the coolness of this area and sheltered from the summer heat.
The villa extends over a green park of 3,000 square metres with a beautiful swimming pool, a playground, a football pitch, a barbecue area and a large number of succulent and Mediterranean plants where you can relax with a good book and a glass of chilled white wine.
From many corners of the villa you can admire a beautiful landscape with the Ionian Sea in the background.
The interior that spreads on two levels, shows a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, two large living rooms, an en-suite, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom (between this latter two we find a bathroom with shower). There is also a very large and comfortable familiar room with a double bedroom, two single beds and a bathroom. The house stands on a 300 sqm area.

The house is located in the lovely town of Pedara, on the eastern slope of Etna, just 10 kilometers away from Catania.
I suggest you to enjoy the Piazza Don Bosco, heart of the downtown where you will find restaurants, markets, a vivid lifestyle and a wonderful public garden.
We are in the eastern side of Sicily, and two masterpieces dominate the landscapes; the sea and Etna volcano, joined by something bigger thant them: the blue Sicilian sky!
Etna (Unesco’s), with its inactiv volcanos (the sons of Etna), caves, forests, lava grounds … lasta 10 km’s
Catania, with its wonderful Via Etnea and its outdoor market, lasts 10 km’s.
The Playa (beaches) too lasts 10 km’s.
I suggest you to get a visit to Acitrezza and Acicastello (5 km’s), fishermen hamlets, where the lava flow has painted a castle and the amazing Faraglioni (sea stacks).
Taormina, the pearl of Sicily, is almost 30 km’s away: it’s a magic place were you can visit the astonishing Isolabella (foto) and walking through the narrow streets of the wonderful Taormina.
Siracusa (Unesco’s), and its Greek masterpieces it’s almost 60 km’s away.
Another tips is the visit of Pantalica (Unesco’s), with its more than 3000 graves carved on the rock, a river, a forest and a sort of mistery all around.

Its time to eat something and my tip is to not miss the Pasta alla Norma and to have, at least once, a typical Sicilian breakfast: granita and brioche!
And, of course, fish, fish, fish … and pay a visit to one of the outdoor fish markets (Riposto, Acitrezza, Catania).

The electricity is included up to a consumption of kWh 250 per week. Beyond that limit it will have a cost of € 0,50 per kWh.
