Palermo: the old town and the street food

A great morning visiting the heart of the wonderful Palermo, one of the most beautiful town in the world!

During the morning we’ll walk in the historical downtown of Palermo, strolling into the narrow streets of the Mediterranean outdoor markets, a kingdom of colours, monuments, shouting sellers and… food.

Palermo’s street food is renowned worldwide: panino with the panelle, meusa, frittole, stigghiola, caldume, sfincione… are ready to be eaten!

Following the itinerary of the tour: Massimo theater, Quattro Canti, Pretoria square, Martorana church, Ballarò market, Casa Professa church, Cathedral, Capo market! (spots of the tour are flexible and might be replaced by others, depending by timetable opening, closing for restoration or other reasons).

Then, if we have enough time, we’ll also pass by the Cathedral and the Real Palace, masterpieces of the Norman epoch (XI century).
